I like to think of DU as a site where sentient beings express their opinions. There are knee-jerk posters here like everywhere, but most actually think before reacting.
Just because they may disagree with you on this particular issue is no reason to flame them by claiming those at Free Republic are right.
I say this as someone very disturbed by this action, but who will seek out a lot more information tonight and tomorrow. I do know that Khaddafi is no prize; neither was Saddam, but this intervention doesn't look like that one to me.
