For those who want to scold people for making fun of Christianity (or religions in general), please remember there are serious and hideous consequences of this kind of scam. People put their pets down because they thought they were being raptured. People gave/spent/donated their life savings and retirements because they thought they were going to be raptured.

Asking for "tolerance" and "respect" for Christianity (or insert your fave religion here) beliefs makes a mockery of those who are truly alarmed at the lack of critical thinking skills that such belief entails. Where does one draw the line at "normal" beliefs vs. "cult". And don't say $$-that-the-preacher-wants because even the Catholic Church has guidelines on tithing and beyond.....

This episode spotlights how crazy it makes those of us "on the outside looking in", especially when non-believers are subjected to innumerable daily cuts for NOT believing....

So turning the dime on it's head: perhaps we non-believers can ask for tolerance when we scorn/deride/ridicule? Maybe its time to take a step back and evaluate where your particular faith path is leading? Religions have been a huge money making industry for a long time. Beware.
