authoritatively sourced, that many years ago, Romney and his brood were taking a long car-trip. The station wagon was crammed to the gills and there was no room for the family dog. So the Romulan put the family dog in a pet carrier and strapped the pet carrier with dog inside to the roof of the car for a 12-hour car trip. Any dog lover (like my wife and me) who has heard the story starts by not just disliking Romney, but fervently despising him.
