Pataki concedes That Aide Paid by Republicans Delivered Meals to His Home
ALBANY, Feb. 3 - After maintaining for days that the duties of a personal assistant whom the state's Republican Party hired for Libby Pataki were political and not personal, aides to Gov. George E. Pataki said on Thursday that the assistant had "on occasion" picked up meals for the family.

The assistant, Michelle R. Stubbs, who is paid $50,000 a year by the party to help Mrs. Pataki, had in the past picked up prepared meals at the governor's mansion in Albany and driven them 100 miles south to the Pataki family's home in Garrison, said Kevin Quinn, a spokesman for Mr. Pataki.

1. Don't they have restaurants in Garrison?
That's obscene to drive 100 miles to deliver a meal.

What is it with these privileged assholes? They really have no clue.

8. Not, apparently, serving Goat's Milk Yogurt
http://www.nytimes.com/2005/02/02/nyregion/02pataki.html

In a visit to the Foodtown store on Monday by a Post reporter, one unidentified bookkeeper for the market recalled Ms. Stubbs asking specifically for goat's milk yogurt, saying "that's what the Patakis want."

3. No. No.
I smell something different.

No one drives 100 miles for a meal unless their getting laid, too.

Something else is going on here.\ with Wacky Pataki.

They said it's about meals, but it's not about meals---come one!

If this had happened under the Clinton administration, Rush and Drudge would have been pumping this story for months.
