Idaho Democrats Hopeful As LaRocco Says He May Run For Governor

(Lewiston-AP) -
Former U-S Representative Larry LaRocco told Idaho Democratic Party members that the time is right for a comeback and he may lead it as governor in 2006.

LaRocco spoke to about 100 Democrats in Lewiston over the weekend at the party's semiannual state central committee meeting.

He also told party members that he was encouraged by last year's gain of 11 seats and they should concentrate on recruiting young professionals. (snip/...)

1. I still make Kempthorne the favorite
but he really didn't do that well in 2002, considering we barely opposed him.

in 2002, we picked up Wyoming, Kansas, and Oklahoma, so I guess Idaho's the next in line for "how the fuck did we pull THAT off!?"
