Terry McAuliffe Set to Co-Host HANNITY/COLMES on FOXNEWS
I don't usually post anything from Drudge, but I could not find anything else on the topic. I will add additional information as it shows up. There is only a headline at this point:

FLASH: Former DNC Chair Terry McAuliffe Begins New Media Career? Set to Co-Host HANNITY/COLMES on FOXNEWS Tuesday... Developing...

Again, I will post additional info as it comes up.

But reading Drudge does, in fact, destroy brain cells.

21. Nope. The brain cells
that make me lazy are extremely healthy--in as good a shape as the brain cells that comprise my information filter. Those are the ones that are destroyed by reading Drudge.

22. Nope. If I ever might have had an interest to do so,
it was obliterated by 2 things: 1) Drudge's campaign accusing Sid Blumenthal of beating his wife (utterly false); 2) David Brock's "Blinded By The Right." Good book. Try reading that instead of destroying your brain cells by reading Drudge.

40. then how do you know
what the MSM is going to lead with tonight? It's not a mater of agreeing with Drudge, it's a matter of staying in the loop...seeing what the other side is talking about...seeing what tomorrow's headlines will be. Hold your nose and do it, if need be, but Drudge is the most influential blog on the web whether DU likes it or not.

12. I hope so
As much of a sleeze bag as Terry McAuliffe is, at least he's not the doofus that Combs is. Not that I'll ever watch the show, but McAullife could put Hannity in his place. For that reason alone it's probably only a temporary gig.

10. Boy he sure was a great DNC chair(NOT)
I see it pays good to castraite the Democratic party and do everything you possibly can to remove democrats from office by allowing Republicans to tell lies about you and not fight against it.

Thank you God for giving us Howard Dean and good riddance to that rubbish McAuliffe.

29. Couldn't agree with you more, all dem's should boycott that
propaganda machine.

They should come out citing all the thousands of examples of flat out lying and say how dangerous it is in a democracy for any news organization to simply cheerlead the administration and declare a boycott until they change their practices.

Fox should have to have a disclaimer saying they are a propaganda machine and not really news.

36. Interesante....
I heard McAuliffe on Hannity's radio show a few weeks ago.

I was stunned that he would be on the show.

After listening for several minutes, I turned the station--because McAuliffe was actually pandering to Hannity and he was agreeing with Hannity about the Dems being weak and disorganized.

I'm sorry I can't recall the specifics of the conversation, but McAuliffe was being apologetic about the state of the Dem party. . He did stick up for the Dems--but never once did he challenge Hannity's inflammatory statements.

I wrote this interview off. McAuliffe had just left his DNC position and was taking an extended vacation. I assumed McAuliffe was being gracious and soft with Hannity--because he was on his way out the door.

After seeing this news about Mc being on FOX NEWS!...I'm not so sure.

Things are getting curiouser and curiouser...

42. I found this from the New York Post
March 15, 2005 -- FORMER Democratic Party Chairman Terry McAuliffe is subbing for left-of-center talk show host Alan Colmes on tonight's edition of Fox News Channels' "Hannity & Colmes."
McAuliffe, a longtime Clinton loyalist, was replaced last month by former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean.

Colmes is on vacation.

Link: http://www.nypost.com/entertainment/42506.htm

Maybe Drudge moved the story because he is only subbing for now? Drudge occasionally pulls a story...maybe this is one of them?
