Saudi Policeman Killed, 20 Wounded in Clash-Sources
RIYADH (Reuters) - A Saudi security officer was killed and at least 20 others wounded Sunday in a fierce gunbattle with gunmen holed up in a house in northern Saudi Arabia, security and medical sources said.

They told Reuters security forces were preparing to storm the two-story building in the town of Al-Ras, 180 miles northwest of the capital Riyadh, which has been surrounded by security forces since Sunday morning.

They said security forces evacuated girls trapped in anearby school by knocking down a back wall ahead of the expected house storming.
