Web sites watching actions of Connecticut politicians

WASHINGTON -- DumpJoe.com, TimetoGoJoe.com and Johnson-watch.com are among a growing number of political Web sites taking jabs at Connecticut's elected officials.

Some fall into the category of "watch sites," like those devoted to monitoring the recorded votes, public appearances and activities of Reps. Nancy Johnson, R-5th District, and Robert R. Simmons, R-2nd District.

Johnson-watch.com is a very recent addition to the online fray, launching just a few days ago. The Web site includes a countdown clock ticking away the days, hours, minutes and seconds that Johnson has not commented on the ethical imbroglio surrounding House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas.

"For now we want to focus like a laser beam on her inability to distance herself from Tom DeLay, but over time I think the Web site could be used to highlight her votes and positions on other issues," said Johnson-watch.com's founder.

How pathetic. Fire the talking heads and replace with the new news journalists. I'm going to give this to the KO group.
