Laura Ingraham Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Conservative radio talk show host and best selling author Laura Ingraham has revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  Few details were disclosed but while listening to Arizona congressman J.D. Hayworth guest host the show on Tuesday Laura actually called in on her own show from the hospital.
She asked for prayers and vowed to beat the disease.  "If I can beat Chuck Schumer I can beat this," Ingraham told her radio audience.  She then told Hayworth that she had to "go into surgery," as apparently the doctors were waving her in.

It was unclear as to the exact type of surgery that is to be performed on Laura.

You know I hate Drama Kings or Queens, but I am asking for your prayers today and for the foreseeable future. On Friday afternoon, I learned that I have joined the ever-growing group of American women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. As so many breast cancer patients will tell you, it all came as a total shock. I am blessed to be surrounded by people who love me--my family, a wonderful fiancé (if he thinks he's going to get out of marrying me because of this little blib, he's sadly mistaken!), my friends, and my church. I am absolutely blown away by how helpful and kind everyone has been--including total strangers who have experienced the same rollercoaster of emotions.

5. Could be a life altering experience for her

she might begin to see the gang she's been running with is out to further cripple the very things that will probably save her life : healthcare, with scientist who can save lives through modern medicine, and not some religious fanantic that sees the devil in God given knowledge of healing the sick.

Prayer #1: Recover from your illness, and soon.

Prayer #2: Once you recover, WAKE UP, realize life is SHORT, and do something USEFUL with your life. Check out of the Hannity Hotel and move to a better neighborhood.

I don;t care for Laura, and I've made no secret of that on DU. But no one should suffer, ESPECIALLY with a disease like cancer. She's young, and if it was diagnosed early, she WILL get over it. I will pray that she does.

Maybe she will take this opportunity to re-evaluate her life and realize that spewing hate is a waste of time and energy and accomplishes nothing.

9. I bet she has insurance to cover her treatment BUT there are thousands

without the luxury of having insurance cover their breast cancer treatments.

I feel sorry for anyone who is suffering but my heart goes out most to those who have to suffer through the illness and worry about paying for the life saving treatments.
