Female staff at Guantanamao sexually abused Pakistani prisoners:-
May 24, 2005

Three Pakistani nationals who were picked up by the US forces from Afghanistan in 2002 and sent to Guantanamao jail, have revealed that the US security personnel desecrated the Quran and the female prison staff sexually and physically abused them.

These allegations are contained in the documents obtained by the Daily Times in which the three prisoners confess about the ill-treatment meted to them at Guantanamao to a joint interrogation team (JIT) of Pakistani intelligence agencies - Military Intelligence (MI), Intelligence Bureau (IB), ISI, Special Investigation Group (SIG) and Sindh Police personnel. The JIT interrogated the three prisoners from April 18 to May 10.

The prisoners revealed that during interrogation at Guantanamao Bay the prison staff, especially the female personnel, used harsh methods to extract information from them and even chopped off the testicles of one of them. They used to press their private organs against their bodies and throw menstrual blood on their face, the prisoners added.

"Women interrogators were particularly indecent with prisoners. They would press their sensitive parts against prisoners' bodies and when a woman interrogator threw menstrual blood on the face of a prisoner, we resorted to a hunger strike," they reportedly told the JIT.

1. May have been fake, but I've never seen menstrual blood you could throw
Unless they collected it from a lot of thin blooded women. It's not really blood, it's bloody tissue. Women generally only produce a few tablespoons a month over a period of several days. I know... TMI.

That said...it doesn't make it right. So why bring it up? Because it undermines the crediblity of a portion of their statement, which gives leverage to undermine other portions of their statement.

2. The Blood trail of the USA
"I think the harm we are doing there far outweighs the good, and
I believe it's inconsistent with American values," says Saar.
"In fact, I think it's fair to say that it’s the moral antithesis
of what we want to stand for as a country."

In an interview with Amy Goodman...

A technique was used in the interrogation booth
where sex was used as a weapon to create a wedge
between the detainee we were speaking with and his
faith. For example, more specifically, the female
interrogator I worked with that day sought to
sexually entice the detainee. The logic behind that
was that if he would be sexually attracted to her, he
would feel unclean, and therefore, she believed, in
Islam, he would be unable to go back to his cell and
pray. One thing she additionally did in order to
humiliate him and also to make him feel unclean was
wipe what was red ink on his face, but it was done in
a way that he believed it was menstrual blood. All of
this again was in an attempt to create this wedge
between himself and his religion . . . .

3. no military personel has admitted it --so it did not happen. Even
when the Internatioanl Red Cross documented the abuse (Koran)---it is like it is hitting a brick wall--(in the US).

The three, along with a dozen others, had returned from Guantanamo Bay in September last year. They said that the Americans interrogated them about Al Qaeda, the Taliban and ISI.

According to them, the Americans were particularly curious about the ISI and wanted information on the agency's networks in Afghanistan and Iran. "Most of their questions were about the ISI. They wanted to know how many of those detained in Guantanamo had been associated with the ISI. They would ask things like what were the networks of the ISI in Afghanistan and Iran, how the agency worked in those countries, and who were working for the ISI in Afghanistan and Iran," the Guantanamo returnees said.

Corroborating reports that the US prison staff desecrated the Quran, they said: "They would stand on the Quran and throw it away, saying the book teaches you terrorism." (ANI)

5. ISI?
Isn't that Pakistan's Intelligence Agency. The same agency that provided funding for Mohammed Atta? Interesting that they would focus on them, didn't they get the memo? Pakistan is our friend now.
