Industrial Plant Catches Fire in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS - A blaze at an industrial plant sent huge fireballs shooting into the air Friday afternoon and cast a towering cloud of black smoke over the area.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries, and no word on the cause of the explosions south of downtown St. Louis.

5. they've got some pretty wild footage
huge explosions! It seems so stupid that the anchors don't know what it is. All they have to do it type the business name into google (they said the name but i cannot remember it).

23. That would come under the title of "research"...
and we all know the MSM "doesn't do" research anymore. They report what's on the White House web site and that's about it.

22. The KSDX view on CNN is so much better than the KTVI view on Fox News
Edited on Fri Jun-24-05 04:05 PM by norml
The view being shown on Fox News is pathetic, just smoke coming up from over the horizon. They don't even have a helicopter on the scene? Fox News has no real ability to cover any real news or live event. When something's breaking even the Fweepers know to go to a real news channel.

That's what this plant manufactured.

They produce industrial gases. Nitrogen, oxygen, argon, etc. Not sure what is burning at this plant.

13. The smoke is going to blot out downtown St. Louis in a few minutes.
At least they "think" that no one was in the plant at the time. But that seems doubtful... what plant has NO ONE in it at any time, and it's not yet 5pm.
