Negotiations between DISNEY and three major suitors have intensified in recent weeks.
Final bids are due this week, with DISNEY then having a 15 day window to accept an offer.

A sale of ABC RADIO, with the network's sensational constellation of 60+ stations, including WABC in New York, the nation's top-rated talkstation; KABC AM in Los Angeles; WLS in Chicago; KGO and KSFO in San Francisco; WBAP in Dallas; influential WMAL in DC; WJR in Detroit, and others, is expected to rock and roil the radio industry.

This sale could be very interesting from as political standpoint. Disney Corporation is rather right wing and they provide radio tyime to such disasters as Sean Hannity and other RWers. A sale of the network could mean in change in the status of talk radio and its hosts. Like....their disappearance or simply a loss of audience. Wouldnt that be nice and refreshing?
But, maybe I am a dreamer.
