US accuses Iran over Iraqi Shias

The US military commander in Iraq has accused Iran of providing covert support
to Shia extremists in Iraq.

Iran equips and trains Shia militia groups, Gen George Casey said, adding
that its influence had risen recently.

Although the US has no evidence that Iranians were operating directly in Iraq,
Gen Casey said "surrogates" regularly attacked US troops.

Speaking alongside Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld at the Pentagon, Gen Casey
said intelligence on Iranian activities now confirmed previously-held suspicions.

2. Which means we will immediately
attack Iran and fail there too. See the logic?

3. The trigger: our military will cross Iran's borders in "hot pursuit" of
"Iranian insurgents". So Rove . . .

6. -- Sign this petition against military action against Iran --

It is with grave concern that I observe the growing threat of a new U.S. war--this time against the people of Iran.

For a collection of articles and resources on this subject you can visit this link: http://reseaudesign.com/research/iran/iran_summery.html

I'm starting up a petition which I will be sending out to as many members of Congress as possible. I'm asking for help to get this signed by as many people, possible in the next month. Send it to as many people you can.

thanks,

8. Whaaa?
Didn't a bunch of Shia just attack and torch the Iranian Embassy? These people will say anything to deflect attention away from the true cause of trouble in Iraq. ...themselves. Did Bush the first blame Iran for the Shia uprising that took place after the first Gulf war?
