Sullivan drops out of congressional race
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/N/NH_SULLIVAN_DROPS_OUT_NHOL-?SITE=NHMAL&SECTION=STATE&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Democrat Peter Sullivan has ended his campaign for New Hampshire's First District Congressional seat.

In a letter posted on his campaign Web site, the state representative from Manchester said a combination of health and political factors made it impossible for him "to make the necessary committment to run the 'full-tilt, full-time' campaign that an insurgent candidacy would require."

"Over the coming months, I will spend considerable time dealing with the health issues that need to be addressed, but I will remain active in public life," he wrote. "I will continue to speak out against the corrosive role of special interest on our civic life; I will continue to stand up for the proud tradition of tough and smart internationalism embodied by John Kennedy and Harry Truman; I will continue to fight for a health care system that includes every American family."

3. Thanks Peter Sullivan!
Fighting the good fight means fighting for yourself as well. My appreciation and prayers that we WILL realize the dream.
