Plain Dealer Reporter

...The Democratic challenger kept up the political pressure on LaTourette, a six-term Republican incumbent, at a Thursday debate at the City Club of Cleveland...

On Thursday, he hit LaTourette on a half-dozen points, including a last-minute vote change in 2005 that helped codify the Central American Free Trade Agreement - and LaTourette's admission later that he had changed his position on the basis of bogus information.

Katz criticized LaTourette for portraying himself as "a moderate at home, when he votes along party lines in Washington." He also told the packed room that he would be "transparent" if elected, publishing lists of everyone he would meet with, including lobbyists.

LaTourette, 52, who last year married a former lobbyist, responded to most of Katz's attacks cordially. He said a nonpartisan study supported his moderate reputation and that he voted against party lines more than any other Ohio member of Congress...

1. LaTourette talked fast and made light of every reference to Lew Katz.
He basically spun his way out of his CAFA vote, and he wasn't held accountable regarding his pledge to only seek 4 terms and his pledge when he said his 5th term was his last.

He is a crafty public servent and for those Dems who publically support him, he manages to reward their communities with pork.

I pray that Lew gets pulled in on coat tails.
