BAGHDAD, Dec 12 (Reuters) - Three U.S. airmen were killed in action
in western Iraq on Monday and two other soldiers died in separate
incidents, the military said on Tuesday.

The U.S. military in Baghdad said the three airmen were killed by enemy
action in Anbar province. One Marine died in "non-hostile action", the
ususal term for an accident, in the same area. A fifth serviceman died
of what the army described as apparent natural causes.

Four Marines die in Al Anbar
Multi-National Force – West PAO

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – One Marine assigned to Regimental Combat Team 7 died
Monday from non-hostile causes while operating in Al Anbar Province.


Three Marines assigned to 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing died Monday from wounds
sustained due to enemy action while operating in Al Anbar Province.


The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin
and release by the Department of Defense.

13th SC(E) Soldier dies near Diwaniyah
Multi-National Corps – Iraq PAO

LSA ANACONDA, Iraq – A 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) Soldier died of
apparent natural causes near Diwaniyah Dec 11. The Soldier lost consciousness and
was transported to a Troop Medical Clinic where medical personnel were unable to
revive him.

The identity of the Soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and
release by the Department of Defense.
