Sheehan, followers to enliven Bush Easter visit
Saturday, April 07, 2007

By Erin Quinn

Tribune-Herald staff writer

Amid a full lineup of activities to coincide with President Bush’s weekend visit, about 150 peace activists, including Cindy Sheehan, plan to deliver an Easter basket to the first family and stage a protest at a Waco military recruiting office.

Last time the president was at his ranch in January, Sheehan and four other peace activists were arrested when they refused to leave the middle of the roadway leading to the president’s 1,600-acre Prairie Chapel Ranch.

Tiffany Burns, spokeswoman for the Camp Casey Peace Institute, said arrests are not expected as no acts of civil disobedience are planned this weekend.

2. I've got to hand it to Cindy, she sure is thoughtful. She continues
to extend a chance to this man to explain what is so nobel about the grief of this war. Money trumps peace-GWB.
