Polish President Makes Surprise Visit to Troops in Iraq
BAGHDAD (AFP) - Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski arrived in Iraq (news - web sites) for a surprise visit to Polish troops spending the holiday season in the war-torn country, a military spokesman said.

Kwasniewski visited the Polish-led multinational division's headquarters in Hilla, near ancient Babylon, said Major Bezzo Kiss, attached from the Hungarian military.

"He is visiting with the troops," Kiss said Monday, adding he did not know how long Kwasniewksi would stay.

The delegation made the 120 kilometres (75 mile) from Baghdad to Hilla in a fleet of three helicopters.

Polish television said Kwasniewski would share a Christmas dinner with the troops, including traditional Polish specialities.

5.  The Polish, Portuguese and Spanish Presidents
ALL paid suprise visits to Iraq!!!
And walked around in broad daylight!!!

The visit comes one day after PORTUGAL's Interior Minister Antonio Figueiredo Lopes on Sunday paid a surprise visit to his country's paramilitary police force based near Nasiriyah in southern Iraq.
SPANISH Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar also paid a visit to Spanish troops in the southern city of Diwaniyah on Saturday.

Hot dog!
They've been invaded by Christians all right.
The three unwise men have just checked in
They are following a star rapidly fading in the west.

In the Yahoo News Photos:

Third row down, right side.

He's even WALKING AROUND OUTSIDE, for heaven's sake. What is he, a madman?

Now Bush has to go back and take a quick walk around outside, in the daylight, too, to avoid looking like what he is!

6. Here's the President of Poland's photo, strolling in Iraq.
The photo was moved to this page:

(Looks as if he's wearing comfy shoes with good acceleration!)

Here's a photo of José Maria Aznar taking a stroll around in broad daylight on his trip to Iraq.

Evidently they aren't nearly as bright as our pResident, who can zip in and out under the cover of darkness.

Whoa! It's Robin Williams, who went to Iraq, too!

7. I'm sure Bush's biggest fear was that he'd be fragged...
...by his own troops, given the elaborate precautions the DoD took in screening Shrub's dinner mates. I'd bet there'd a long line of soldiers who would've liked to get within arms reach (or at least a grenade toss away) of him that day.
