Soldier dies in non-combat related incident
Multi-National Corps – Iraq PAO

BAGHDAD, Iraq – A Soldier assigned to Multi-National Corps, Iraq,
died April 24, 2007 in a non-combat related incident.

The name and home unit of the deceased Soldier is being withheld
pending nextof-kin notification.

The incident is under investigation.

3. Guard: Eastern Pa. soldier apparently kills self in Baghdad
JIM THORPE, Pa. - A soldier from Penn Forest Township has died in Iraq.

Jeremy E. Maresh, 24, died a non-combat related death Tuesday in Baghdad, the Defense Department said.

"He died from an apparent suicide," Lt. Col. Chris Cleaver, a spokesman for the Pennsylvania National Guard, said Thursday.

Cleaver said the Army was investigating, and military officials would not release details.
