U.S. to complain to IAEA chief over Iran enrichment

2007-05-23 06:37:39

WASHINGTON, May 22 (Xinhua) --
The United States and some European allies plan to complain to Mohammed ElBaradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over his proposal for Iran to retain some uranium enrichment activities, U.S. media reported Tuesday.

Officials from the United States, Britain, Germany and France will visit ElBaradei this week to tell him their concerns over Iran's nuclear program, the report said, citing U.S. officials.

1. Under the NPT, Iran has the "inalienable right" to nuclear enrichment
for nuclear power.

That's a fact.

bUsh, who is in violation of the NPT (and most other treaties in existance), will have to get over that fact.

2. El Baradei = PointMan
How did the vigorous anti-nuke/PEACE movement of the Reagan 80s crash and burn?

Did anyone in the WayBack Machine really believe, in a scenario that "Officials from the United States, Britain, Germany and France will visit El Baradei" to see if safeguards for global nuclear proliferation would ever be used to enhance our annihilation and/or spread nuclear energy propaganda?

We marched for something a little more than a whimper...

So why aren't people speaking out more?
