We rattle the sabers. Iran responds.

The Insane Clown Posse running this country is trying to provoke war with Iran. I guess Rove figured he could not LIE us into another one so the only answer is to have Iran ATTACK US.

Let us hope that this does not play out and that we can solve this diplomatically...

If oil prices surge due to conflict in the Gulf that blocks tanker movement, the money to be made by the majors is astronomical. Since the war with Iraq the reserves held by all major oil corp's has skyrocketed. Each dollar hike, adds 100's of billions to their coffers.

Oil and money. Money and oil.

Of course they could pull him out, dust him off and let him have another go....

I think that it is a show of force. To bring them in during daytime, flaunts their presence in the face of the Iranian government.

What country wouldn't defend itself against external threats to sovereignty? Well, I suppose some states' leaders have sold their countries out, so I suppose it's indeed possible.
