2 U.S. Marines die in separate incidents west of Baghdad, military says

Published: August 9, 2007

BAGHDAD: Two U.S. Marines died west of Baghdad — one
in fighting and the other in a non-combat incident, the
military said Thursday.

One Marine assigned to Multi National Force — West was
killed Tuesday while conducting combat operations in
Anbar province, which stretches from the capital to the
borders with Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia, according
to a statement.

Another Marine with the division died the same day in a
non-combat incident, the military said separately. It
said the incident was under investigation.

3. Two more for the big pile....

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.
