Serb ethnic cleansing brigade in training for Afghan mission
Serb paramilitary troops who last saw action in the ethnic cleansing of Kosovo in 1999 are being trained for anti-terrorist duties in Afghanistan beside some of the US forces who helped expel them from the Yugoslav province. The 1000-strong force comprises some former members of the "red berets", a feared military police unit which helped lead the campaign to drive the Albanian majority out of Kosovo and wipe out Kosovo Liberation Army resistance fighters.

1. this is part of our 'new europe' relationship
we can no longer associate with respectable countries, so now we're hanging out with racist thugs.
Thanks chimpy, for bringing 'honor and dignity' back to the WH. :eyes: :grr:

3. OMG
this nation is going to rot in hell for this one. My former exchange student is from Serbia and her husband had to do a year military service, mandatory. I'm going to call her in a bit to see if she's aware of this.

This is almost too dirty for words.

5. I guess that answers a half-jest question
if Slobo was doing his thing today, would he receive condemnation or assistance?

Obviously the Butcher of Grozny is now the White World's best friend and much loved by "western liberals" because of Iraq (same with a couple particular rightwing "social democrats" in Europe), but I was idlely curious if Milosevic's "anti-terror operation" would be as well received by the same crowd if done today.. seems so. :puke:
