10 policemen wounded in blast near (former PM Iyad) Allawi's HQ

Baghdad, Dec11, (VOI) – Ten policemen were wounded in Tuesday's earlier explosion that occurred near the headquarters of the former Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi's National Accord Front (NAF) in the area of al-Harithiya, western Baghdad, on Tuesday morning, a security official said.

"A suicide bomber blew his vehicle at the second checkpoint set near the NAF headquarters located in al-Zeitoun street, al-Harithiya," Qassem Atta, the spokesman for the Fardh al-Qanoon security plan told the independent new agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).
A medic in al-Yarmuk hospital in Baghdad had said the hospital received ten seriously wounded people.
