LAS VEGAS (Reuters) - A federal judge on Thursday allowed Nevada's Democratic Party to conduct voting to choose a U.S. presidential nominee in casino hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, a decision likely to boost Sen. Barack Obama.
<snip>

A teachers' group filed a lawsuit saying the exception for the casino workers' vote was unfair, but Judge James Mahan of the U.S. District Court for Nevada disagreed and declined to issue a temporary injunction.

6. No, no.
With each person you convince to vote your way, you have to remove an article of clothing. I could see this becoming very popular. And well attended.

Let the Republicans be the party of suppressing certain blocks of voters!

7. I'm thinking, not so much.
This sets up some vile precedents and I can see court action for decades over this. Somebody said on DU why not caucuses in brothels? Well, brothels contain shift workers and why can't they sue for equal rights in this? Are they less equal citizens?

If they caucus by employment, why not every workplace? Because some workplaces are more special than others? This challenge was last minute. There will, and should be, much more serious ones.

8. If the Democratic Party approves caucuses in brothels, so be it.
They don't caucus be employment. Anyone that lives within 2.5 miles of the site can caucus.

9. Why not caucus in brothels?
Anywhere the party wishes to have people get together and vote, they should get together and vote.

Its interesting to watch them work their miracles.

Especially when Bill goes off like that

I'm surprised he didn't let his surrogates take the SHOT

10. A good day for democracy. I never doubted that the courts would rule this way.
Bill Clinton's tirade yesterday on television hurt Hillary.

As an Obama supporter, I enjoyed when I saw Bill exploding on TV on this issue because I knew it would only help Obama.

As a Democrat, I was sorry to see Bill lowering himself to that level and pissing away the goodwill he'd built up over the years.

I'm torn: I want Bill to continue campaigning because he's helping Obama, but on the other hand, when this is all over, I'm sorry to see his legacy reduced to being a sneaky political trickster.

Do you still think Obama will win NV?

17. All over television and especially in Nevada.
He blew up and, I actually felt sorry for him as he clearly lost his temper and now the court has ruled against him.

Obama will win Nevada and John Edwards will place second.
