2. Our convention hall is ACE compared to the giant flag the GOP came up with
It's dynamic, follows the nice blue and white theme of the website and campaign, and very high-tech. Their art team deserves a big round of applause.

10. Another fact-free attack on the polls.
When the polls don't mirror your views, they, not you, must be wrong.

I think it's a little silly.

28. Gallup, like most polling orgs, do not poll by party.
They poll randomly. It really is silly - your lack of knowledge, but your certainty about your conclusion.

I'm tired of the paranoia about polls.

33. I hope you've learned then.
Political party identification changes from time to time. For example, in 2004 a good number of independents called themselves Repugs when they stated they were voting for Bush. A good number of independents claim they are Democrats this year when they tell the pollster they'll vote for Obama.

Political party identification is malleable, and using it to segment the electorate is a statistical mistake. Only unchanging stats, like age, geography, sex, etc. should be controlled for in a poll.

BTW, Gallup was the most accurate poll in 2000 and 2004.

21. I agree with you
They don't tally cell phones or internet polls. I hope this map is correct which gives Obama a 31 point lead over the electoral vote.

17. And we must not forget that.
Don't ever go getting comfortable people. A landslide is better than a decisive victory, and a close win is a loss.

20. I think what you're referring to...
... is called the convention "bump", which, yes, each party will get in its turn. Ours will be short circuited this year because the Republicans cleverly moved theirs up a week. You'll call that evil or Nazi-like, no doubt. But really it's just smart strategy.

Look for lavish praise of all the incompetent utterings of the various republicans at their convention.

27. Waiting like crazy to see him above 50%
Obama hasn't spoke and he knows how important this is. I can't imagine the pressure he is under. I just don't see how the fascist party's convention can be better. But then again I thought the same about their 9/11 theme party 4 years ago. I guess this year it will be the POW theme party. What will those sick fucks do instead of purple band aids this year.
