MORELIA, Mexico - Explosions ripped through a crowd of revelers celebrating Mexican Independence Day, killing at least three people and wounding about 50, officials said.
The blasts in the center of the western city of Morelia late on Monday might have been caused by grenades, El Universal daily reported.
Hundreds of people had gathered at the Melchor Ocampo plaza to celebrate.

This is supposed to be a happy day. I was just getting ready to leave to go to a parade in downtown Guadalajara, as I didn't get to "Grito" celebrations last night on account of the weather. This is such a disgrace.
