3. FOX and Friends was focusing only on the AP poll that has the race even, nationally
They just can't accept the numbers in the other polls.

I don't take anything for granted, though, Kerry and Gore were both up in the polls prior to the elections.

19. No they were not.
Gore was down in most polls before election day. Everyone expected Bush to win the popular vote. The question was whether Nader would
get enough votes in swing states to make Bush the el. college winner too. Rove was shocked by Gore's 72-hour turnout operation. After the
election they spent millions to study it and then applied it in 2002 and 2004.

Kerry was not ahead, either. At best he was running within the margin of error. The last Gallup before election day showed a dead even race.

8. Not buying +14 in OH. There's no way.
That is WAY out of whack with other polls. Looks to be an outlier... let's see what other polls come up with.

17. Obama leads in key swing states
Source: Boston.com

Democrat Barack Obama holds sizable leads in the key swing states of Ohio and Pennsylvania, and is hanging on to a narrower edge in Florida, according to new polls released this morning.

They give the latest sign of Obama's surge during the economic crisis that could -- unless Republican John McCain mounts a significant comeback -- result in an electoral landslide on Nov. 4.

The Quinnipiac University poll of likely voters in Florida shows Obama leading 49 percent to 44 percent, a slightly smaller lead than the 8-percentage-point edge he had in the same survey last month.

In Ohio, the Quinnipiac poll gives Obama a 52 percent to 38 percent lead, up from 8 percentage points last month.

And in Pennsylvania, Obama leads 53 percent to 40 percent, a slightly smaller gap than the 15-percentage-point lead he held in the poll last month.

18. Strange. Mason-Dixon showed McCain leading by 1 in Ohio
Why are these polls all over the place?

I haven't seen anything like this in previous elections.
