Aristide's wife attended a news conference on Sunday where Foreign Minister Charles Wenezoui read out a message from the exiled leader saying he had been well-treated in Bangui. His wife, Mildred Aristide, was not allowed to speak to the media.
Central African authorities have expressed annoyance that Aristide has repeatedly accused the United States of forcing him from office in phone calls to friends and the media.
EVERYTHING about this is bogus.
I wrote in another thread that I heard CNN overnight saying the reporters received word that Mrs. Aristide would be giving a statement, and went to the roomm to cover it. She was not permitted to speak, as the door flew open, government security forces barged in, disconnected tv camera lights, etc., and read an announcement that she would not be speaking, and that her husband would release a statement within the next 72 hours.
WILL ALL OUR REPRESENTATIVES AND SENATORS ENDORSE THIS ULTRA-VIOLENT COUP?
Surely they're not ALL that evil.
