US ambassador makes amends
http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article.jhtml?articleID=753454

A year ago, US Ambassador John Doyle Ong shook up the local diplomatic community and his host Norwegians by suggesting that Norway's lack of support for the US-led invasion of Iraq could harm future relations. Now Ong says the two countries are the best of friends, while insisting US President George W Bush is not unilateralist.

Whether his audience believed him is another matter. Some questioned the US' remarkably sudden rise of promoting "multilateralism" and "partnerships," given the Bush Administration's track record and criticism of the United Nations.

What a DICK!
