Supreme Court Elena Kagan confirmed by Senate Judiciary Committee in 13-6 vote

Reporting from Washington — Elena Kagan, President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, won approval from the Senate Judiciary Committee on a nearly party-line vote Tuesday, her next to last hurdle before gaining a lifetime seat on the high court.

The vote was 13-6, with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) joining the majority Democrats.

11. Graham believes in confirming all Supreme Court nominees who are qualified, on
the basis of their resumes. He believes that is the consequence of elections. As in "Elections have consequences."

9. I know he's not up for a while
I also visit enemy sites, and know he is poison to Republicans. Tea Baggers winning primaries against establishment Republicans only became fashionable this year. It will continue in greater strength in the coming years, until all the moderates are thrown out of the party.
