Senate hopeful O'Donnell cancels national TV spots
Source: Washington Post

WASHINGTON -- Tea party favorite Christine O'Donnell, whose Republican primary upset in Delaware's Senate race shocked the GOP, canceled appearances Sunday on two national news shows.

O'Donnell had been set to appear on "Face the Nation" on CBS and "Fox News Sunday."

Campaign spokeswoman Diana Banister cited scheduling conflicts and said O'Donnell needed to return to Delaware for commitments to church events and afternoon picnic with Republicans in a key county where she has solid backing.

"Tomorrow the priorities are back in Delaware," Banister said. "Those are people who supported her, who were very helpful to her in the campaign, and she feels obligated to be there and thank them." . . .

Yeah, right, Christine. I think we all know what caused the cancellations.

3. The witchcraft stuff and what has been reported so far is likely the tip of the iceberg.
Don't put all your eggs into the Christine basket, Tea Partiers.

Oh, too late - they already have. I hate to say it, but maybe they should have listened to Karl Rove. Oh, too late there, too, and they only listen to their own echo chamber.

Well, of course Hannity can. Hannity could dismiss human sacrifice, so long as the practitioner has an "R" after his/her name.

22. wait a minute: Sarah Palin was Saved From Witchcraft - VIDEO
SNIP:

____________________
"Whether you call it religious whackjobberry or much ado about nothing, the latest political buzz, besides the economy, is the so-called Sarah Palin Witchcraft Video. As shown on YouTube and reported by the Associated Press, the 2005 church video shows Gov. Sarah Palin being blessed by a Kenyan minister -- to include protection against "all forms of witchcraft."

Filmed at the Wasilla Assembly of God church in Alaska, the Sarah Palin Witchcraft Video depicts Bishop Thomas Muthee praying aloud over a standing, palms-up Palin. The event is rather subdued in comparison to even some TV evangelists programs, lacking physical evidence of fainting and shouting."

I'm sorry dearries, but I've got a lot of mind-numbing potions to make up if I'm gonna have any kind of a chance of winning this Senate thing in November. So I'm gonna have to cancel all my appearances on the teevee and for that matter all other forms of communication until then. Good-bye!!! Hee, hee, hee, hee, hee.....

I'm a little surprised about Chris Wallace, unless they're afraid she'd even screw up the slowly lobbed softballs from Fixed Noise. But, Bob Schieffer would have filleted her like an oily Gulf of Mexico king fish.

And I also ate Booberry, too, if the Frankenberry had run out.
The kids preferred Frankenberry and I have to agree, it tasted better going down.

I wonder if Senator Franken ever commented on that cereal.
Fuck, that's why I'm up at hours like this, trying to figure all of this shit out.

But, on the other hand, would that mean Senator McConnell uesd to eat Cocoa Puffs?
Is that why he's "coo-coo" today?

45. And yet, it remains to be seen whether she will pay any
price for this or not. She's following the Caribou Barbie playbook to the letter - only let yourself be seen by friendly audiences and shoot for totally one-way communication (Twitter, Facebook, blurbs on Faux news, etc) rather than let yourself be seen saying something stupid. Unfortunately this technique is catching on (See Angle, Brewer, Bachmann et. al.) and it's really quite effective. I'm not sure this will cost her anything in the long run - a day's worth of comments on DU and then on to another topic.

46. So Xtine Stepford-Palin thinks that avoiding tough questions
makes her qualified to make tough decisions once she's elected?

No, missy, it doesn't.

And if you were about something, you wouldn't be running scared like a effin' girl. You'd woman-up and take your asswhippin' for your beliefs and statements. Why run and distance yourself from it?

A double minded person is unstable in all their ways.

O'Donnell's just out there for attention, so apparently this means she doesn't have a constructive thing to say (but has plenty of religious lunacy based on her statements about abstinence and creationism). GO CHRIS COONS!
