Diplomat to Consulate of Mexico Assassinated

Chicago's First Secretary to the Consul General of Mexico was found shot to death in the Mexican state of Guerrero over the weekend.

Jaime Almonte Borja, 42, was reportedly driving on the road to his hometown of el Naranjo on New Year's Eve when he was ambushed and shot by bandits trying to steal his vehicle.

Borja is the brother of former Mexican Congressman Ramon Almonte Borja.

5. Yes, I've said this for a long time. But I'm not sure if they really want our help.

There was bad blood between the USA and Mexico in the past.

Although Obama has given them some aid of the military type, complaints are made that it's not being used properly.

It just sounds like a nightmare. I know people with family there and they're afraid to visit them if they have to travel by car.
