Germany indirectly helps action Libya

Paris-Germany is not taking part in the international military intervention against Libya, but I want to indirectly help. So is Berlin prepared the NATO force in Afghanistan to relieve, by Awacs flights over there. I would also like to Germany military support items available for the countries that participate. That has the German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Saturday.

The UN Security Council adopted Thursday a resolution against the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, where an authorisation is given for, all necessary measures '' to protect the Libyan population. Germany abstained. ,, We had reservations about parts of the resolution. But now applies the resolution and we want that successfully implemented '', said Merkel
