Scalia Apologizes for Erasure of Reporters' Recordings:

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has apologized for an incident last week in which a U.S. marshal erased reporters' recordings of a speech Scalia gave to high school students.

"I have written to the reporters involved, extending my apology," Scalia said in a letter to the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press.

7. so does that mean the next time he speaks

he will allow it to be broadcast? He won't even let C-SPAN cover his speeches. He refused C-SPAN cameras in when he accepted a First Amendment Freedom of Speech award last year. Does he really expect we believe he cares about reporters' rights?

really I am sure it was a hard thing to realize you are in the wrong when you are a US Supreme Court Justice and you order the erasure of a reporters tape of your public speech by federal law enforcement-you would eh think that would be a no brainer not requiring a political firestorm-love the NYT on this guy today-rethugs acting like "royalty" and as to your apology Disjustice Scalia:nopity:
