Warrants Let Agents Enter Homes Without Owner Knowing
Source: KOAT

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- A special type of government search warrant that allows authorities to search homes without informing the owner for months is becoming more common, Target 7 has learned.

Imagine someone walking through your neighborhood, coming into your home and rifling through your intimate belongings.

“(They) search through your home, your dresser drawers, your computer files,” Peter Simonson, with ACLU New Mexico, said.

These search warrants don’t involve knocking on doors or any type of warning at all. Delayed-notice search warrants, or "sneak-and-peek" warrants, allow federal agents to enter your home without telling you they’ve been there until months later.

2. Beer vendors too. But don't forget those who will grovel their apologies for these intrusions...
...as long as they happen under the "right" administration! Or done by the "right" party!

5. The GESTAPO has been at it since the Patriot Act was passed.
9/11 was the GOP's Reichstag fire. The Patriot act was the enabling act.

6. I assume your law on trespass is the same as the UK
Trespassers must take the land as they find it. In other words if they suffer harm as a result - tough.

8. I'm reminded
of when the brother of a friend wired the metal frames of the rear windows of his first floor flat to the mains while he was away on holiday. Sure enough a would be burglar was catapulted from the first floor to the ground. Police were not too impressed but no action was taken.

19. sounds about right
par for the course!! the reason this train of thought occurs to me, a few years ago an independent freight carrier was adding extra cargo to our shipment of nursery stock, they flew helicopters over the farm for months, we had cell phones tapped, etc.....I am wary of the government as it is!!

plant evidence to come back and "discover" later. So there's probably no point at all in worrying about that.
