NH Unionleader: Bevill will challenge Bradley in Republican primary
Merrimack businessman Bob Bevill announced yesterday that he will seek the Republican nomination for the 1st Congressional District seat held by Jeb Bradley.

Bevill owns World-Wide OnLine, which provides national Internet connections for military and civilian customers. In a news conference yesterday in the Legislative Office Building, Bevill said that his main focus will be on job creation, defending America and eliminating “out-of-control” spending in Washington.

The Merrimack Republican said Bradley and the Bush administration are “selling out to special interests groups who want to take away what remaining few jobs we have in New Hampshire and give them over to foreign workers at a less-than-sustainable wage.”

Bevill said that if elected he would work to better protect U.S. borders against criminals, terrorists and illegal aliens. He also would work to get the troops out of Iraq and hand over the task of stabilizing the region to an international force, he said.
