FURIOUS BUSH DEMANDS TO SEE ALL PRISONER ABUSE PHOTOS, VIDEOS

**Exclusive**

A furious President Bush has demanded to see all photos and videos showing abuse of Iraq detainees, a senior White House source said late Sunday.

"The president was blindsided by the first TV images, he will not be blindsided again," the source, who demanded anonymity, explained to the DRUDGE REPORT.

The president has instructed Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld to present him with him all known images that could further deepen the crises.
<snip>

"It's clear the moment the evidence is sent to the Congress, we will see a new feeding frenzy in the media."

1. he's clearly furious about the politics, not about the abuse
the abuse he was fine with. it's the images, and the fact that they are becoming public that's got his panties in a twist.

They may miss out on that SWEET CRUDE they've been drooling over.
Furious--
Shrub sez, Hey guys, in the next country we take over don't take pictures wen we torture!!

My intuition tells me that he and Rumsfuk have actually have been to Gitmo to torture the "detainees" first hand-
-wouldn't doubt if they got blood on their hands and killed a couple just fer kicks..
That's my intuitive feeling on where they stand on torture.

50. Don''t click on Druge the liar makes money every time you do...but....
I am listening now on the radio and I avoid any Drudge sponsors. For someone who wants to expose the "truth" it is abhorrent that he is catering to callers who say the torture images "undermine our efforts" in Iraq.

If there was a video of Kerry raping a Vietnamese I'm sure he would be the first to expose or invent it...

Now the ABC news on the radio: The first to be court-martialled (which carries a max of a year in prison) is the messenger, not the abuser! The photographer is the first!

Well, the photographer being the first fits in with what Michael Reagan said today - the one who releasd the images should be charged with treason and face a firing squad- and MICHAEL REAGAN WOULD BE HAPPY TO VOLUNTEER!

I think someone should do a service the the rest of the world and translate these radio talk shows which show the true morality of the "Mericans" into other languages and publish them abroad. As a warning of what's to come...

You think then that FCC might catch wind of hate radio?

Another "gravitas" ploy. Look, you can't have it both ways - claim to nothing about the torture then try to portray yourself as a decisive leader. Leaders stay informed and act, not feign ignorance and then react when caught.

he became aware of them in January....afterall, bush* is the commander-in-chief of this whole POW sex-scandal snuff operation....

gosh, bush* even sent over wolfowitz and rumsfeld to the PRISON several times...to make certain that those 'evil' people were telling where those Weapons of Mass Destruction were hidden....

the only reason bush* is now so excited...is because senator john warner announced that there is AUDIO available.....

14. why is he so worried about the pictures?
He can read the report. The horrors are spelled out. Any idiot can understand what happened. That should be enough for Bush to make some big changes at DoD.

So why is he furious about the pictures?

Because Rove knows that the sheeple don't read newspapers, but they watch TV. He knows the pictures will stick for years and years as the Bush legacy.

If there were no pictures, this whole story would have been swept under the rug. And Bush wouldn't give a damn about what happened at that prison.

Ralph Fiennes plays a chilling Amon Goeth in the movie, and plays him to the point that some

that gullible? Every cop show on TV shows the detectives recording and viewing live interrogations. I believe I've seen some military/spy movies where they do the same. You think with all our technology there weren't live feeds to the White House and Pentagon control centers? When we all saw on CNN that the our soldiers have the cameras on their helmets which feed to control centers who advise and command. I personally saw this on CNN. Wake up Sheeple!

I said this 6 days ago on the break. Not only are there pictures there are DV Videos. But not just what the soldiers personally took who went supposed to. I'm saying on the Pentagon, White House and local command centers their databases have stored live video of the tortures and interigations. Which I imagine they are deleting ask we speak.

41. I wonder if that means Rumsfield is toast?
See, Bush claiming he wants all the pictures is another way of saying "I'm the victim here, those pictures were kept from me," which is his way out of this. To follow through with the charade, Bush has to be dramatic. Rumsfield, Myers and Kimmit are expendable. Who he fires will tell how desperate he is. If Rumsfield goes, Bush is really scared. Also, watch for a surprise firing. If someone we don't know much about gets canned, it's a sign that that person knows too much about Bush. Firing them would hurt their credibility in any accusations against Bush.

He's sinking, and lashing out. I can't remember them loosing their cool like this before, so maybe this really is going to hurt Bush.

That you think it was suspicious that Baxter killed himself with rat shot just before he was about to rat on Enron, are you? Why, that's outrageous!

I think there are too many key people here to stop this with an "accident." If Bush could talk a lot of people onto one plane, maybe.

Bush needs to look presidential in public, not in private. As much as he likes killing people, he may have to do this one the old fashioned way-- bribing someone in a smoky backroom to take the fall for him.

59. These pictures will always symbolize this war for me
As opposed to the photo ops Bush & Co wished we would remember.

He will come to wish that he had shown the american soldiers coffins after all.

60. If Junior were truly sincere in his disgust he'd fly to Bagdad.
He'd take with him Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice.

They would all apologize to the Iraqi people on Iraqi television. They would visit the prisons and hospitals. They would meet the Iraqi people in person.

Otherwise, he's just blowing smoke.

It seems to me Junior is just a little bit pissed off that this "scandal" might cost him a few points in the polls. That's all.

62. Not so furious he won't take another long vacation
and I'm sure he only wants the pictures to have something masturbate to on his vacation, since I'm sure he gets off on swarthy muslim men exposing their hairy mantools and manflesh.

What an evil fuck he is.

And while he's on vacation, I'm sure another "terraist" attack will happen, just before the repuke making-911-into-a-photo-op-to-dupe-the-Christian-flag-waving-assholes convention in NYC, the evil fucks, so they have something even more impressive to offer the American Public in terms of showing how they "love freedom" and "are angry at the attacks" and will "do everything possible to ensure that this doesn't happen again" and especially that "this is obviously not the time to elect someone new to the presidency, or the terraists will take advantage of the transition and probably erase America from the globe itself with the use of a giant moon-based laser which they have, really, just trust us, we know, we have secret information we can't reveal or reveal the sources of, but yeah, the terraists are planning a moon-based laser attack that will actaully erase North America."

63. Blindside me twice... shame on... shame on.... can't get blindsided again!
Edited on Sun May-09-04 11:19 PM by VolcanoJen
Wanna bet, Chimpy?

You have been blindsided by emerging photos... for a second time. It's clear that Sy Hersh and Sen. Lindsey Graham have either seen the additional photographs and video(s?), or have been extensively briefed by someone who has. Yes, you can get blindsided again, Mr. President, no matter if you wish really really really extra hard that the bad news would go away.

You thought it would end, George, at showing your disgust and blaming it on a few "rotten apples." When that didn't work, you took it straight to the "Arab World" with your insincere regret and not-quite-apologies. When you failed again to respond in a matter that satisfied the media and the people of the world, you decided to apologize to the leader of Jordan; you told us about it a few moments later in the Rose Garden. You also quicky dispatched your most trusted sidekicks, Cheney and Condi, to run to the defense of Secretary Rumsfeld. By the way, has anyone seen Colin Powell?

Guess what, George? Once again, you're the last to know. It's likely that while you're wringing your hands and stalling, continuing to deny the turmoil swirling within and without your presidency, as you are prone to do, one of these "big time fancy journalists" will hit pay dirt, and the dreaded photo/video will show up in a worldwide primetime exclusive. I'm thinking mid-week.

67. Public posturing.
Much like him being 'furious', with Rumsfeld. I would be highly surprised if he hasn't already seen the pictures.

He will now spend the entire week being shocked and aghast by it.
