4. I'm relieved and scairt all at the same time

The gap between when Bush can raise $$$ and Kerry cannot could be crucial and hurt efforts. HOWEVER, I think it would have looked awful and added immeasurably to the image that Bush/Rove have been building.

The answer is to work like the dickens before the convention to raise carry-over funds and give after that to MoveOn, etc.
