2. One clip I saw was a cop push a guy from behind as he was pushing his bike

the guy that got pushed looked over his shoulder to see who had shoved him. I believe the cops over-reacted but they shouldn't have to be working overtime for a sporting event. The teams should have to pay for the extra protection the cities need to supply.
We need, as a society, to stop the fanatic crap that goes on after sporting events. People need to grow the hell up, a game is a game. While it is OK to celebrate and be happy that your team wins, it isn't something to riot over.

....they MUST name him at some point but most states don't require a name be released until the individual is arrested. Most states would have a higher standard, however.

most teams and large events do have contracts with local law enforcement whereby they pay overtime for uniformed and plain clothes cop services. it's a plum assignment.

that's how it is in my state, however....Mass may be somewhat different...
