In the segment broadcast, the al-Qaida leader refrained from directly threatening new attacks, although he said "there are still reasons to repeat what happened."


"Your security is not in the hands of Kerry, Bush or al-Qaida. Your security is in your own hands," bin Laden said, referring to the president and his Democratic opponent. "Any state that does not mess with our security, has naturally guaranteed its own security."


Admitting for the first time that he ordered the Sept. 11 attacks, bin Laden said he did so because of injustices against the Lebanese and Palestinians by Israel and the United States.


It was the first footage in more than a year of the fugitive al-Qaida leader, thought to be hiding in the mountains along the Pakistan-Afghanistan (news - web sites) border. The video, broadcast on Al-Jazeera television, showed bin Laden with a long gray beard, wearing traditional white robes, a turban and a golden cloak, standing behind a table with papers and in front of a plain, brown curtain.

"It never occurred to us that the commander-in-chief of the American armed forces would leave 50,000 of his citizens in the two towers to face these horrors alone," he said, referring to the number of people who worked at the World Trade Center.

"It appeared to him (Bush) that a little girl's talk about her goat and its butting was more important than the planes and their butting of the skyscrapers. That gave us three times the required time to carry out the operations, thank God," he said.

In planning the attacks, bin Laden said he told Mohammed Atta, one of the hijackers, that the strikes had to be carried out "within 20 minutes before Bush and his administration noticed."

I think it is AWESOME that Bin Laden is bashing Bush - Bush has been playing the role of the "tough" cowboy and protraying Kerry as "weak", even though we know Kerry actually fought in combat in Vietnam and George Bush sat in Texas and snorted coke. What you're seeing on the teee veee is not really reality in this upside down world where black is white and up is down and Bush is a cowboy on a (manufactured before 2000) fake ranch and Kerry is a wimp.

First of all its going to remind people that IRAQ is a big fucking mess and that if Bush hadn't of went into Iraq and focused on Al Ciada that he might have gotten Bin Laden - and it doesn't help that Kerry in all 3 debates mentioned that fact that Bush could have got Bin Laden in Tora Bora, except he outsourced the job because he was in a hurry to get into Iraq (and grab their oil) after bombing Afghanistan and laying that pipeline through there to the Caspian Sea and taking the $7 TRILLION worth of oil there. Most Americans don't know that the job was really done in Afghanistan because it wasn't about the Taliban or Alcidada - it was about getting that pipeline built.

But mostly it is going to remind people how Bush sat and read a book entitled My Pet Goat to a bunch of 2nd graders for 7 minutes after he learned about the SECOND plane crash into the WTC - he knew about the 1st one before he went into the classroom that morning and DID NOTHING - Didn't put anyone on alert, not Norad, not the airlines, did NOTHING - and then just went into that classroom and sat and read a book. Not very many people know that except for those who saw Michael Moore's move (THANK YOU MICHAEL MOORE). Maybe when the fog clears from their eyes they'll begin to wonder - sounds like Osama is making a fool out of Bush to me - and that's how its playing over at the right wing cites. They are even thinking Kerry wrote it. HA.
