(Grand Rapids, November 11, 2004, 12:20 p.m.) 24 Hour News 8 has confirmed hundreds of people in Grand Rapids are in jeopardy of losing their jobs.

Officials with Siemens Logistics and Assembly Systems Inc. tell 24 Hour News 8 they are looking to consolidate their three sites into one facility.

2. but.....but.....but......
I've been reading for a week now how "fantastic" the economy is and how jobs are everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. Why, I just got home for my local Meijer's and there was a sign out front saying I could "start my career" there!

Since when is a lousy job at the Meijers store a "career?"

I'll answer that myself - since bush took office.
