(Bush) joked that he could tack on an "I'm George W. Bush ...

....The president joked that he could tack on an "I'm George W. Bush and I approved this disclaimer." But then he said he wouldn't - that it was up to local stations to reveal the truth.

He said his Justice Department had found that the fake news programs are "within the law so long as they're based upon facts, not advocacy."

And, of course, this is a White House that never makes up facts to suit its purposes or sell its programs. It serves its propaganda baldfaced, with no hint of its real agenda.

At least I got a wink.

1. it's "within the law?"
that's what they actually said? they openly acknowledge they're using a loophole to produce government propaganda disguised as independent news, and then blame the media for not telling us they are pulling a fast one on the american people? the same media they *COUNT ON* not to tell us they're pulling a fast one on us?

holy fucking shit, batman, that's as in-your-face fradulent as you can get. disgusting.

2. Yeah, I loved that remark by
Bush. The AG that says he can imprison and torture anybody he wants, and that no branch of the US government can override his authority, also says that it's OK to do these propaganda films.

Gee, what a surprise.
