Setting the Record Straight: The New York Times Editorial on Pre-War Intel
in response to the NYT editorial that slammed bush the other day, the whitehouse did a 5,000 word rebuttal. i didn't know where else to stick it, so i brought it here. (in case anybody wanted a good laugh before lunch)

1. I like that they lead with other governments thought Saddam had WMD -
and did not mention the only big spy agency left is ours, so those "other governments" made decisions based on what we fed their intel service.

I wonder if the media wants to understand the obvious - or will they be quoting the 5000 words as if they were a truth that explained and justified, rather than half truths spun one more time.
