LMAO !!! Soy foods "turning our kids into homosexuals" - World Nut Daily
http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53327

(snip)
There's a slow poison out there that's severely damaging our children and threatening to tear apart our culture. The ironic part is, it's a "health food," one of our most popular.
(snip)
The dangerous food I'm speaking of is soy. Soybean products are feminizing, and they're all over the place. You can hardly escape them anymore.
(snip)
Soy is feminizing, and commonly leads to a decrease in the size of the penis, sexual confusion and homosexuality. That's why most of the medical (not socio-spiritual) blame for today's rise in homosexuality must fall upon the rise in soy formula and other soy products. (Most babies are bottle-fed during some part of their infancy, and one-fourth of them are getting soy milk!) Homosexuals often argue that their homosexuality is inborn because "I can't remember a time when I wasn't homosexual." No, homosexuality is always deviant. But now many of them can truthfully say that they can't remember a time when excess estrogen wasn't influencing them.
(snip)

6. what came first, the moisturizer or the gay????
I'm an enquiring mind, I want to know.

About the weener part, that's just flat out wrong. In fact seriously you could conclude the opposite.

Let's call soy a hormetic substance and pseudo-estrogens cause a concommitant INCREASE in testosterone coupled with hypermasculinization, including penis size, girth, length, width, weight, and circumference. (sorry, was just being thorough).

See the other theory is that some gay men are hypermasculinized and will just boink anything with legs that ain't dead. And we moisturize. It's all coming together now.

who knew?

Does anyone who writes and supports this crap ever think what they say all the way through? This blows their own stereotypes of femininity and masculinity out of the water. So, it feminizes men to turn them gay..what does it do to women? Make them more feminine and gay? Ludicrous. According to this guys logic..we (men)will all be gay soon, or perhaps even be women soon..and very feminine women at that!

16. Actually, Soy products contain a form of plant estrogen and
can be metabolized by the body as estrogen. People who are prone to cancers with estrogen-receptors are warned against overconsumption of such foods. And lets' face it, soy or soy-derivatives are in almost everything today.

This goes to prove that a little bit of sound information can be turned around into saying almost anything you want it to.

21. There is some truth to this:
Note that the Israelis have issued a warning concerning use of soy in children:

BMJ 2005;331:254 (30 July), doi:10.1136/bmj.331.7511.254-a
Health committee warns of potential dangers of soya

Jerusalem Judy Siegel-Itzkovich

Israeli manufacturers of soya products were rattled by the recommendation issued by the country’s health ministry that consumption of soya products be limited in young children and avoided, if possible, in infants. After a year’s work, a committee of experts also advised that adults who eat soya products do so in moderation, pending authoritative future studies.

Although research showing possible harm—a higher risk of cancer, male infertility, or other problems—from soya is based on animal or retrospective human studies, the committee of 13 issued recommendations based on the precautionary principle. Soya contains phytoestrogens that may have some of the effects of the human hormone if consumed in large quantities.

<snip> ....
"We don’t know the long term effects on health of large amounts, so we are urging moderation," said Dorit Nitzan Kaluski, director of the health ministry’s food and nutrition service who was a committee member. "We want to be careful. And while it is easy to identify soya products, there is much more soya added to foods such as breads, cakes, cookies, and crackers."

Paediatricians will monitor the thyroxine concentrations in infants and toddlers who have hypothyroidism who drink soya based formula or soya foods. And women with breast cancer or a high risk of it will be advised to consult their doctors about soya in their diets.

BTW, China's consumption of soy is rather low. Other Asian countries that eat a lot of soy usually eat it more in its fermented (safe) form.

They certainly don't inhale the super processed fractionate soy protein products that we do.
