After Fuller prosecuted Siegelman, Bush made him a judge. Karl back to thank Fuller w/ a fundraiser.
Here is a recent email from former Governor of Alabama Don Siegelman.

"Where was Karl Rove last night? Why, he was in Alabama to headline a fundraiser event for the Republican Party.

But not just anywhere in Alabama. Rove wasn't in one of our biggest counties. No, he was all the way down in Coffee County.

And, says The Legal Schnauzer, Roger Schuler, Coffee County is home to Judge Mark Fuller: "And for what is Mark Fuller best known? Why, he was the judge who handled the case against former Democratic governor Don Siegelman, perhaps the most notorious political prosecution in American history" -- prosecution at the hands of Karl Rove and other national Republican operatives.

Is it more than a coincidence that Rove is in Enterprise, Alabama? Of course! And, I need your help to fight back.

Contribute to my legal defense fund today -- and let's send a message to Karl Rove and his cronies that we're not going to stop fighting until we clear my name and hold them accountable for their abuse of power and misuse of the Department of Justice!

It's not hard to put the pieces together:

We know, as reported by CBS' 60 Minutes on 2/24/2008, and from sworn testimony of Republican lawyer Jill Simpson to the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, that Karl Rove directed the Department of Justice to "pursue" me.

We know that my Republican opponent's campaign manager, Bill Canary was "a top GOP operative and close associate of Bush adviser Karl Rove" who had worked closely with Rove for years -- and who was married to the U.S. Attorney who brought me to trial one month before my re-election campaign. (Time Magazine, 11/14/2008)

We know that Karl Rove approved the Bush Administration's federal appointment of Judge Fuller, who presided over my trial and sentenced me to prison.

Judge Fuller is from Enterprise, Alabama, who my Republican opponent's son said was to be my "hanging judge". (Harper’s Magazine) And Judge Fuller proved himself to be the "hanging judge" who had me handcuffed, shackled, and sent to solitary confinement in a maximum security prison -- while adding prison time for my having spoken out about the Rove/Canary connection with my prosecution. (Time Magazine, 11/14/2008)

Last night, the chickens are all came back to roost -- in Enterprise, Alabama -- and I need your help to fight back.

Contribute to my legal defense fund today -- and let's send a message to Karl Rove and all his cronies that we're not going to stop fighting until we clear my name and hold them accountable!

Karl Rove could have been a lot of different places last night.

He could have earned a big $50,000 speaking fee anywhere else around the country.

Instead, he was in Enterprise, Alabama. And I think we all know why.

Please contribute now -- and let's hold Karl Rove and his GOP cronies accountable for what they've done."

1. Have you a link for the Siegelman defense fund? If not, I can try to find it.
I'd love to help out with exposing Rove's misdeeds.

4. Why is a sitting Federal judge associated with a political fund raiser?
