500th Bush Casualty on its way

Half way to 1000.

The fist dozen deaths bought rage, the first 100 more rage. Now, each life erased is almost ignored in an impaired silence leaving the impression that the cost is worth the goal -- what ever that may be. How will you mark the 500th life lost for lies, profits and political ends?

I wish to be more than silent. By what outlet will you address the fact that 500 fellow citizens walked into the fog of a fraudulent war never to return?

What means is there to drive home to the jaded, manipulated, willingly gullible American that the stench of death is creeping by their open window. To inhale deeply and not forget what it means to die for your country, or to die for Republican causes.

I am open to suggestions.

Maybe because you threat the death by the "number factor" or maybe I am pissed off, like you, about these deaths (and all the civilians death) and there is no sensible way to address it without being blunt and sounding insensitive...

It is about solemnities and recognizing the rule by madmen.

If making a passing request to aid me to find a way to console me in the realization that we have lost 500 Americans irks you, is the carnage and loss that I address less offensive?

See what you want, but milestones are important times to return to another normalcy and ask what are we doing here and demand answers.

And you wind up with numbers well into the thousands. But, of course, the Pentagon won't release those numbers to the Media, and even if they did, the Media wouldn't relay them to the people for fear of the outrage that would erupt.

Just imagine Bush, Rove and Cheney all sitting on top of a powder keg to keep it from blasting open. However, the pressure is building up, and sooner or later it is going to blow.

One way or another, the American people are going to find out about the wounded... their sons and daughters, fathers, mothers, cousins, uncles and aunts, each horribly wounded, if not murdered, for no other reason than the Bush junta's war for OIL. When the people realize the real reason for the war, woe to Bush and his people.
