Of being fired from the White House, resigning, or "asking to be resigned"
Which category fits Paul O'Neil?

I was checking out the Yahoo Message boards, and came across this:

You don't resign from the White House. You are told to resign.

"I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States" is a contract, not something Aaron Sorkin dreamed up.

Please indulge my wicked sense of humor. I also have to post this one. It is funnier than hell, and has a ring of truth to it:

The best one was Karen Hughes, "resigning" because her 15-year-old son was "homesick."

Bullshit. She was canned two months before that, when Bush said or did something stupid and she clocked him, causing the bruise that was covered up in "plausible deniability" by the ridiculously implausible story of choking on a pretzel and failing to get help from a SS agent on the other side of a door 9 feet away, for the 2-4 minutes it took to pass out, but miraculously waking up on the floor.

Anyone who believed that story should be deported.

3. Put Sec. Of the Army "Enron" White down as an early one.
Enron ties and trying to get Enron exclusive no-bid contracts on Army bases didn't do it. Flying on gov't plane to his ski-resort house did.

Go figure.

is three people who were in the cultural division who resigned after the looting of the iraqi musuems. before the war bush meant with a group of antique dealers/group who wanted the restrictions on the sale of iraqi treasures lifted. certain areas of the musuems were proffesionally looted and the looters had a shopping list of items. interesting isn`t it? interpol is still recovering looted goods from gulf war one but i have a feeling these latest items will never be found for a long ,long time
