A question for all the Buckeyes out there...
I hear rumblings about the Democratic candidate winning Ohio in the upcoming election. That would be great, as I cannot see Bush getting re-elected without Ohio. However, I haven't really heard any in-depth analysis of the issue. Could any Ohio voters here enlighten me as to our chances of winning Ohio?

Furthermore, will Jerry Springer run for Senate?

P.S.
In case any of you were wondering, our chance of carrying Colorado is between slim and none, and slim just left the building. However, we may get Ben Nighthorse Campbell's Senate seat if Gary Hart runs.

1. I don't live in Ohio but..........
I live right across the river. My boyfriend lives in Ohio. He's pretty apolitical but says he hears at work everyday that they will not vote for bush again. They're pretty po'd. I think my state WV will also go Dem this year after our BIG mistake last year.

2. That's good to hear...
If we can get Ohio and West Virginia that's 34 votes, if I'm not mistaken. In that case, we can win the White House without Florida (which I'm confident we can take, after all, we won it last time) or any Southern states.

In Price of Loyalty top of page 221. Cheney, "we can use the steel tariffs as political bait for the mid-terms, then when they come up for reveiw in 18 months we can do the switch". Also the gun issue was
a killer here.
