Tragedy tomorrow, comedy tonight: Freepers fave moments of "our" Prez
OK, anyone here with a sense of humor (and, yes, tragedy) needs to check this out. The funniest Freeper thread yet: "What is your proudest memory of our President?" Looks like throwing a baseball is number one so far; prancing around the flight deck not far behind; the bullhorn on the tragic ashes of 9/11 in New York also popular (and the reason for the GOP convention this September in New York). Please view and comment. This is too much. And don't forget what is at stake in November. This is.

4. ...
Are these fucking idiots programed or what!

Just a sample.

“If is elected, the era of big government being over is over. And so, too, I fear, is our prosperity. Big spending, as always, will slow the growth of our economy and return us to the days of debt. And here’s the difference: my plan has spending discipline.”

Hello? anybody home?

"Taking the oath and thus removing that scum of the Earth Clinton and Gore from screwing up our foreign policy around the world."

How's our foreign policy now?

"I would have to say when he signed the campaign fincance reform bill even though he thought it was unconstiutional. That was geat."

What more can I say?

Talk about a dangerous trip into freeperland! Excuse me I need to go throw up, then take a long shower.

11. I think that first freeper quote was meant as sarcasm...
It is a quote from Bush during one of his debates with Gore.

6. No, the best is the guy with 8 kids!
Which is a statement in itself. He called his wife and said, "Get our 8 kids ready to go out!" and drove to get them in their 12 passenger van. He then drove them to a GW* campaign appearance at an airport. They all thought they were going out to dinner, but instead, waited over an hour outside in the drizzle. Because they had a good spot, they wouldn't let their kids leave the line to go to the bathroom! Then, they all shake his hand and none of them want to wash theirs. But wait! Didn't they all have to go to the bathroom? That means they shook his hand, went to the bathroom, and did who knows what, then didn't wash their hands???

Which is definitely not the worst that's happening.

Besides, sounds to me like poetic justice.

12. That guy sounded like a prick. If my husband called me and said
get the kids ready, I would have to say screw you, come home and help me get them ready! Crap, hustling to get 8 kids ready to go see BU$H??????? In the rain????? My kids wouldn't find one ounce of excitement in that! But, I have them "trained" well. :)

On October 27, 2000, in his third debate with Al Gore, Bush said:
“If is elected, the era of big government being over is over. And so, too, I fear, is our prosperity. Big spending, as always, will slow the growth of our economy and return us to the days of debt. And here’s the difference: my plan has spending discipline.”

A great memory.

Such a HUGE disconnect from reality.

Earth to old loser...EARTH TO OLD LOSER...

Have you seen the deficit lately?
Have you seen how many TRILLIONS it is?
Have you seen the state of the economy?, under your tin gods "spending discipline"??

I swear to god these people have shit for brains.

13. Well, I could only stomach the first 50, but
at least there were a couple who were thinking. The rest, I just don't know where they could possibly have been educated.

14. No wonder we are in the mess we're in.............
"To me the MOST memorable moment is when the aide advised the President of the crashing of the plane(s) into the WTC as he was reading to the children in the school in Florida. The President nodded his head gently and pursed his lips. I thought to myself: "Somebody has just pissed this guy off and I would not want to be them!" A defining moment! Truly, I believe it was at that very moment that this man became the Commander-in-Chief and President that he is."

Joe, after that orgasmic moment passed, what were your thoughts about him sitting there for another 20 minutes....do you think the book was that interesting that he had to find out how the story ended?

It sure was a defining moment, as was his stirring "I had to flee harms way" to explain why he was AWOL on 9/11.
